Mission University Pines partners with Ronald McDonald House of Durham
For Quarter 4, Mission University Pines partnered with Ronald McDonald House of Durham.
The Ronald McDonald House in Durham was the first House in North Carolina and the 13th in the nation. It was also the first Ronald McDonald House to open without the support of a professional football team. Instead, it was developed and supported entirely by the surrounding community – a tradition that continues today.
The team accepted donations for families of the Ronald McDonald House. They also purchased and baked desserts to be sold for donations.
Residents of Mission University Pines also contributed to the cause by donating to the "Wish Tree" set up in the leasing office. The residents took a wish list from the tree and donated those items from the list to the families in need.
Great job to all who helped out at this event!
