Matthews Place hosted a month long clothing drive to donate to Crisis Assistance Ministry’s free store for families in need. Crisis Assistance Ministry is Mecklenburg County’s leading non-profit agency providing the working poor with emergency rent and utility assistance, clothing , household goods and furniture.

Residents donated over 25 large bags of men's, women's and children's clothing. This (by far) has been one our most successful events. Residents were excited about giving back and appreciated that the donations are free of charge to the families in need.
