Five years ago, we set out to build something the rental housing industry didn't have: a place for direct, unscripted debate instead of another stage of panels and prepared remarks. This year proved the idea again. The value of this gathering has always come from the debate in the room, and this year's argument was as good as any we've hosted.
Attendees heard from six of the sharpest minds in the industry, and every one of them earned their place on the agenda. But as many of them told us over the two days, the sessions were only half of it. The real thinking happened just as often around the tables, over meals, and into the evening receptions, and that's exactly by design.
