On April, 2016 the Mission Matthews Place team hosted a clothing drive with much success for Crisis Assistance Ministries
Crisis Ministries is a non-profit organization in Mecklenburg County that assists the working poor and homeless. They offer job training, financial assistance and also has a free store that provides clothing and furniture. They work closely with the Urban League as well. Our residents were very excited and the event was such a success that we extended it an additional week.
