On November 15, 2016 the Mission James Place team helped package 10,000 meals for the Central Texas Food Bank. Team members helped in organizing, cleaning and packing food boxes for the community.

The team was overwhelmed with a fulfillment of joy. They were glad to be a part of such a large impact on the community. Central Texas Food Bank employees could not stress enough on how much they rely on volunteers. It puts into perspective how many people really need these services.

Residents were invited to participate by bringing in non-perishable food items as well as by joining the James Place Team in volunteering.
