Christopher C. Finlay

Christopher C. Finlay is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Middleburg, a leading investment firm maximizing value through a fully integrated approach to the acquisition, development, construction, and operations of high-quality attainable housing.

In this role, Christopher takes primary responsibility for the strategic vision and direction of the firm, the defense of the corporate culture, and the active oversight and management of Middleburg's affiliated companies. In this capacity, he has led the company in the acquisition, development, and construction of over 33,000 housing units and over $4.3 billion in transactions. Under his leadership, Middleburg has grown to one of the largest developers and builders of rental housing in the United States.

Christopher is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Entryway, formerly known as Shelters to Shutters, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C., and on the Board of Directors of the National Sporting Library and Museum in Middleburg, Virginia. Additionally, he is active with industry organizations and is on the Board of Directors for the National Multifamily Housing Council. Christopher served seven years in the United States Marine Corps and graduated with honors from the South Carolina Honors College at the University of South Carolina.
