Sammy Stalcup

Mr. Stalcup is responsible for sourcing new opportunities and managing new multifamily and build-to-rent (BTR) developments from concepts through construction in the Nashville, Chattanooga, and Knoxville markets.

Sammy has 16+ years of industry experience in the development, design, capitalization, and operation of large-scale multi-family and commercial developments. Prior to joining Middleburg, Sammy led Network Realty Partner’s expansion to the Southeast. Sammy also worked at National Real Estate Advisors where he closed and managed the execution of $1.9B of multifamily development projects, totaling 3,800+ residential units.

Sammy earned his MBA from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2016, where he received the Michaux Family Premier MBA Fellowship. While in Chapel Hill, Sammy served as a Fund Manager on the UNC KFBS Real Estate Fund, the only student-run direct investment real estate private equity fund in the country. Sammy also graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in architecture in 2010.
